DeVilbiss iGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator Review
The DeVilbiss iGo portable concentrator is a 3-liter unit that has both continuous flow and pulse dose modes. It weighs around 20 pounds and is able to operate on 3 different power sources: rechargeable battery, AC Power, and DC Power.
It operates from a setting of 1 to 6 in pulse dose mode, or from 1 to 3 liters per minute in continuous flow mode. The pulse dose mode has an integrated oxygen conserving technology that extends the usage time of the iGo. It offers increased efficiency and mobility and improves on overall comfort.
The iGo has increased battery life that can make it last up to 5 hours in pulse dose mode when the battery is fully charged. The charge time is swift, with normal charge times between 2 and 5 hours. The battery automatically recharges when you connect the unit to an AC power source. If you are operating on AC power and that is interrupted, the iGo will switch to battery operation.
The iGo was put through rigorous testing to make sure it delivers reliable, consistent performance. It was designed with the active user in mind and can handle some of the toughest terrains. The rolling carry case has an opening that makes it easy to access the external power supply and cannula. There is also an easy to access filter department. The control panel is easy to read whether at home, in a restaurant or an airplane seat.
